I designed a book cover for Kirstens Hævn by Bjørn Rasmussen with a focus on materials. The book shifts between tenderness and brutality - a dreamy horsegirlnovel about boys and friendship, and a dark revenge story. I wanted the design to hold both worlds at once, letting the materials perform the emotional split: Cute and girly on the outside, dark and bloody on the inside.
